The Town Forum Working for Fowey

One of the Forum’s aims is to co-ordinate the views of all sections of the community and to identify common aims for the development of the Town.

We work closely with Fowey Town Council, the Port of Fowey Chamber of Commerce and the Community College and enjoy very positive and fruitful relationships with these bodies.

We are fortunate to have the expertise and assistance of the  the Rural Services Manager of Cornwall Rural Community Council; which provides valuable advice and guidance in terms of funding opportunities and in providing links with other agencies which may further the aims of the Forum.

We meet monthly (apart from August) on every second Tuesday at the Fowey Community College at 7pm and all are welcome.

The Fowey Town Forum was created in 2004 and currently has thirteen members. All are elected and are either independent or represent local interest groups such as the Port of Fowey Chamber of Commerce, WI, Troy Players, Funnybone Theatre and the Community College. We also have members from Fowey Town and Cornwall County councils.

The next meeting of the Town Forum will be held
