FOWEY HERITAGE PROJECT MANAGER (PART-TIME)

Salary £25,000 pro rata for 12 hours per week

An exciting opportunity to run, develop and deliver this important heritage initiative for Fowey supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Candidates must have knowledge and experience of project management and promotion in addition to previous experience in the heritage sector and/or working with rural community engagement.

 

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The aim of this role is to work with the Heritage Sub Committee of Fowey Town Forum to implement the Fowey Harbour Heritage Project. You will be required to run and oversee the day to day operation of the project and. A key part of the role is to develop opportunities for local community involvement in the project and co-ordinate their participation in the project. You will also be required to ensure the various elements of the project link appropriately and oversee the development of these to successful conclusion.  The role will require you to work closely with local community groups, key partner organisations and the selected suppliers as well as the Fowey Town Forum.
